1. sprint nextel corp: GameLoft SA announced partnership with Sprint Nextel Corp. to launch a trio of award-winning 3D games to Sprint customers. Gameloft's slate of hit titles includes Real Soccer 3D, Midnight Bowling 3D and Midnight Pool 3D. The games are part of Gameloft's expanding catalogue of original licenses and strong 3D offerings.


2. Google Inc: Google Inc. has launched My Maps, a tool that allows users to create custom maps for personal use. My Maps is part of Google Maps, Google's satellite mapping application. My Maps allows users to create map mashups by pointing and clicking their mouse, marking locations using icons from Google's library, drawing lines and shapes to highlight paths and areas and adding text, photos or YouTube/Google Videos to a map. My Maps users can also view their maps on Google Earth. Users can choose to make their My Maps unlisted or public. Unlisted maps are intended for personal use or sharing with friends and family by email. Public My Maps will be accessible through Google Maps search along with maps shared by other web sites in the KML format. My Maps users can store maps they have created or viewed when signed into their Google account


3.al-Mart Stores Inc: Wal-Mart Stores Inc. announced the appointment of Bill Simon to the newly created position of chief operating officer of its U.S. Wal-Mart stores division, the latest in a string of executive changes this year as it seeks to rekindle growth. The company also appointed Pat Curran to the new role of executive vice president of people, Wal-Mart parlance for human resources, over its U.S. stores. Simon and Curran will both report to Eduardo Castro-Wright, president and CEO of Wal-Mart Stores U.S. Wal-Mart said Castro-Wright would report directly to Chief Executive Lee Scott from now on rather than his previous boss, Vice Chairman John Menzer. Menzer also added the new title of chief administrative officer.


4. Citigroup Inc : Citigroup Inc. reorganized senior management at its private bank, replacing the unit's CEO with a pair of executives. Damian M. Kozlowski, who had been CEO of the private bank since June 2005, will leave to pursue other opportunities outside the firm. Kozlowski's responsibilities will be split between two executives who will report to Krawcheck. Citigroup promoted John Longley, who had worked in the international division of the Smith Barney retail brokerage, to CEO of the U.S. private bank. Deepak Sharma, who has headed the wealth-management's operations in Asia and the Middle East, will now run the wealth-management division's international operations, including the private bank and Smith Barney. Russ Morton, the No. 2 Smith Barney executive, stepped down after 25 years with the company amid a streamlining of the retail brokerage's management structure.


5. JP Morgan Chase & Co : JP Morgan Chase & Co. appointed Jay Horine head of its power and utility group. He was previously a senior managing director and joined the firm last year from Goldman, Sachs & Co. Horine reports to Doug Petno, head of energy investment banking.


6. The Bank of New York Company: The Bank of New York Company Inc. announced that it has been appointed by Dutch pension fund Stichting Pensioenfonds ING as global custodian for a €2.2 billion fixed income portfolio.
